WMC’s Labour Market Information Update project will create an updated, in-depth study of the advanced wood manufacturing sector’s Labour Market Information and the challenges industry firms are facing in today’s economic climate. The project will:

• update the WMC’s labour market information statistics to reflect recent market events;
• provide a clear, current assessment of the short- and medium-term challenges facing the sector; and
• serve as a basis for adjusting or re-designing our human resource strategy for the sector.

WMC will make the updated study widely available so that all stakeholders can access the latest information.  Please download the interim report here:
